  Hi deidrek, I just want to tell you that a lady have sent me an email that she has got the knitting instruction in BURDA for the pattern 141 2007 and she is going to send it to me, so now I am very very happy! merry christmas and a happy new year. vibeke larsen living in copenhagen denmark

    I havent opened this for a few weeks, Ive been on holiday to Queensland (just missed the floods) and Melbourne!!! Im so glad you got the pattern, will you be able to knit it a wear it for this winter?? You are having a very cold winter this year and our summer is VERY wet. Please let me know when you finish it and send a photo please.

  Hi Deidre!

  I’ve been trying to work out how to reply to you. Thank you so much for asking your newsagent for the suppliers name, I’m going to ask my local newsagent to order it in for me. I actually bought the last two months worth off ebay which has given me a chance to have a good read, and I really like the patterns (although lots are more advanced than my current sewing level it gives me something to aspire to).

    Thanks for your reply, glad it helped, I find the patterns are a really good fit and line, you will find the methods of construction different from most patterns but you can use the methods your most comfortable with.

    Like you I find this website very frustrating to use especially the messages and answering them. Good luck with your endeavors I hope you have someone around to help if you get stuck. Happy sewing, let me know how you get on

    Oh dear what a problem, I wonder why Burda wont answer you, maybe you should telephone them, are phone calls very expensive, maybe if you can talk to someone in the office you might be able to get a back copy. I hope your daughter enjoys Port Douglas, it is a long way from here about 4 hours by plane!!!! I hope to go there one day, a friend of ours has moved to Cairns which is near there so hopefully we will visit one day.

    I will check with some friends to see if they have the one you need

  I’m visiting you’re profile and I can see you’re from Sydney… !! I love it there!! I’ve been there in 2005 and stayed for a month at a nice lady house at Lane Cove. It was before starting my career of fashion design at the University here in Argentina, but I would have stayed forever if it wasn’t because I had to start classes…

    Im so glad you had a great visit to Sydney. Lane Cove is a very nice area, I am over near the beaches on teh north side so not too far from where you stayed, I hope your studies go well and you get the chance to visit again someday>>
