hi! thank you for you comment. i had to include you, you have a fantastic skill with the wool and needles. the Schopenhauer quote is more a quote for my designing and not so much my sewing hobby, but its such a marvallous quote

Oh great u heard about it! I didn’t even go to see it lol oh well i saw pictures anyway. No I didn’t go to Cetral St Martins so I don’t know those who organise the Legun mag… I went to the London College of print ( communication) and spent the majority of the time in the screen print room!!! I loved it ! it was my favourite medium but I haven’t done any printing for about a year now…HUff I have a screen and inks I just need a place and some time would help too! Oh well i hope to continue with it some day. The work you are doing sounds a bit complicated?? anyway u must be good if you are at The RCA. I’m afraid I can’t remember the names of the students who went from LCC to the RCA….! Anyway have a great Christmas break and new year! I’m hoping to come down to London for christmas on wednesday so i’m looking forward to that!bx

Cool! what are u studying btw?? RCA wow! I had a few people go from my college there to study illustration/graphic design and I had some work exhibited there in The Show Off exhibition last year. I would love to visit, to see the exhibitions that are on now but alas I now live too far away! Yeah I started off with knitting before sewing but I always thought I couldn’t learn how to shape things nicely so I never really went further than hats and scarves!lol Looking forward to seeing what u hav made!bx

Yeah I totally understand about the xmas present thing, I don’t think it’s selfish at all. It does take a lot of time and I never make anything as a present unless the person has actually specifically asked me for something and chosen the fabric etc. I know I would be really disappointed if I spent a lot of time on a garmen and the person really didn’t love it and never wore it. I am however making cushions for my husbands nephews , they’re young so they’re easy to make for. I’m also making trousers for Robert (my hubby) and he chose the fabric. I did mean it to be a surprise and went ahead and bought some gardadene only for him to see it after I cut all the pattern pieces and say… he didn’t like it! Oh well- so i thought I would use the fabric for something and low and behold the suit contest came up! – as for making I have more or less the same amount of stuff as you! so it’s not as much as some others! there are those members who have 69 and the featured member this week woow! she has lots!!!! now that’s what I call prolific makers!!. I usually sew everyday for about 3/4 hours and I have 4 things on the go. I don’t usually finish something in that 3/4hours though!! – anyway enough rambling -I look forward to seeing your knitted stuff (oh I miss knitting!)bxxx
