Thank you. Paris was wonderful. My brother and sister-in-law are back in Michigan now he’s working on becoming a photographer so he was more than happy to shoot me in my coat, which I really appreciated. My best to you as well.

Hello, Helene! Thank you for you support (again)! Yes I drafted the dress myself but I don’t think it’s that good to be sent to the Burda team so I’ll give another go at the pattern. Hopefully, I won’t allow myself to mess it up again!! Thank you…

neither do I. But I still want to try the bishop sleeves in a plain dress maybe? I’m so infatuated with that! Anyway, thanks for your nice comment on my blouse!

Hi! How are you doing? Your creations are fantastic, I really think your ‘Intermediate’ status isn’t representative! Michelle tells me you live in an old school, I wish you could see more of it in your pics, sounds awesome! Looking forward to your next creations. All the best x

Thanks so much for your nice comment on my upcycled his-to-hers dress! Ya, I was stumped for a bit when I was working with the pattern, because after I used the trousers for the front half of the dress pattern, I didn’t have a long enough piece of fabric from the suit to cut out the back half of the dress! So I used the suit jacket for the back…basically taking the pattern for the back of the dress and cutting out a top half from the back of the suit jacket, and a bottom half from the front lapel side….haha. But it worked out!

Dear Helene! There is nothing more rewarding and soothing then to find such a lovely, lovely comment which will help me forget all the horrors I experienced trying to take the pictures, write the description and try to upload the pics, while having screaming Ben 10 and his friends killing aliens in the same room. I really appreciate the feedback! Thank you dear lady….

Yeah, I never stop with creating. Unfortunately I do not have a time to make and upload the pictures of everything I make. It would be fun. Keep well. X

Oh wow thanks Helene, that would be awesome! A friend of mine actually saw the same photos on my blog, took pity on me and offered to help me with my next shoot. Which is a good thing, because Simon, my fella, is about sick of playing paparazzo. So after her expert shooting, I migh send them to you for additional brightening?!?! Your photos always have such a luminous quality without looking bleached-out, they’re so beautiful!!!

Lady! I posted TWO whole creations!
It took me so long because I needed the sewing machine and some fabric…. and dare I say the hutzpah to post my simple creations when my sights are on creating beauties such as yours. Your creations are mouth-watering. I am at the porridge stage!
I read your posting on Ana’s re: your thesis. CONGRATS and don’t worry about the politics. (although I know it is easier said than done.) I will be sending you all of my academic hoo-rah to help you through!
Thank you for your very sweet comments, generous at that !

I was taking a second look at your Nancy dress and there was something familiar about it. Now I now. It reminds me of the village frock I did for my daughter. Only remotely though :) I have tons of things on my list at the moment, mostly for my daughter though. Somehow I find it more rewarding (easier, faster) to do things for her. I do have a few planned for me as well though, though the Nora dress is far down the list. I also started knitting again and I like it. Other than that, there’s really not much going on here. How is your PhD coming along?

The sun has been just wonderful, hasn’t it? We’ve survived another grim winter! Thank you for the comments on my dress and skirt, you’re very kind. And my essay, yes, it took me a very long time to write that 1,000 words…

Hi, I am going to London in Nov and was wondering if you could recommend any good fabric shops to go to? I live in Belfast and it’s really poor for cool fabric. Thanks :)
