    Yeah I’ve used an extra piece, but it is folded underneath then stitched on top so you can’t see it from the outside. It’s a really nice way to do hems and I use it on all my stuff :)

    It’s really easy to do a band! There’s a tutorial on here somewhere but I couldn’t find it. You just use a long strip of fabric folded over, sewn onto the neck and folded inside. I can’t explain it…
