    I based the bodice on my Hawaiian dress and added a half self drafted circle skirt with invisible pockets. I also added homemade piping to the bodice and capped sleeves. Apologies about the dodgy c…

    It started off life as the “yoke skirt” pattern from The Great British Sewing Bee 2 book. I made the skirt and had some left over fabric so decided to drape a bodice and turn it into a dress.
