    Hi – I want to change my username, but when I go to change it in account settings, I can’t type in the username box (it’s greyed out and not changeable). How can i do this?

      Click on your FRIENDS tab and then hover your mouse over the person’s username. A trashcan icon and the word REMOVE will appear. Choose that.

    Hi BurdaStyle support, I do have the same problem with uploading photos as we had before. I’m getting the pink line everytime I try to upload a photo. I have tried to resize the photos as well, but without any luck. Can you pls have a look at this issue. Thanks in advance.

      I normally use Windows Internet Explorer, but now I have to switch to Google Crome :) Happy New Year!!

    I am new to this site & have found several how-to’s I want to print, but must wait for more ink, so to save my chosen topics instead of having to traverse the full site again, I wanted to save. can’t find the “save” button, so I hit the “add to my toolbox” button. now – how to I access this button?

    after reading the other posts, I am not at all sure I will hear back from this site.

      If you click on your username in the upper right corner of any page (you must be logged in), from there you can access your dashboard.

    I am an experienced dressmaker but am having trouble understanding the instructions for Burda Style pattern no #103C U necked dress which I purchased last week.

    Page two para 4 deaing with the front pleat is very complicated and I would appreciate further or simpler instructions. I am at a standstill with my project. Please help – a few illustrations would help as to what is meant.

    I suppose my problem is the same as Ellen Hatteland’s: When trying to post a new project, I can’t upload pictures. My pictures are the right size and I’ve posted from this computer using this browser (new Mac, using Safari) before without trouble. Now, when I try to upload a picture, it doesn’t show up as a thumbnail no matter how long I wait. Instead, the whole line in which it should appear is filled up with the white-and-pink grid of the burdastyle logo. And when I try to finish the draft, the side says no pictures were uploaded. I’ve tried several times last night and this morning with the same result. And I couldn’t help but notice that there were no other new projects posted in the mean time which leads me to suspect other members are having the same problem.

      Thank you – I appreciate your answer, and I’m sorry about the trouble you have had lately. I do have a small issue; in my studio it says that I have 20 projects where you can view all, but I have 57 projects now. This is not a big deal for me, but if it’s easy to fix I would appreciate that. I really enjoy your site and I happy to be a part of it :)

    i CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE PATTERNS! I have tried several times, but when I click the download it now button, the box for the code appears, but disappears before I can put in the code and then “wrong code” shows up.

    I am a bit ticked as $14.99 is a tad expensive not to be able to download a single pattern.

    Having trouble publishing a new project. I’m not new here. I know what the size requirements are for photos. I’ve tried 4 different size and resolution photos in both jpg and png and none of them will load. The red and white Burda banner appears where the image should be after I click browse and select my photo. Also clicking “save as a draft” and “finish” gets no result. The only thing I can do is cancel. Would appreciate help!

    I am unable to download my magazine. When I try I get one page of a description of the magazine. I am very frustrated with this please help. I am not a computer novice.

    i am unable to load new projects also because it won’t load pics properly. a pink bar appears and it won’t allow me to click “finish”. It says it is uploaded but no thumbnail appears.

    There seems to be an issue with the file for the BurdaStyle US magazine that I purchased. My download gives me constant messages about the fonts if I open it in the PDF program, and if I view it at the Burda website, the text is all garbled in the articles about using Burda Patterns. Please provide me a clean file or refund my purchase price.

    Hi BurdaStyle Support! I’m really glad that you solved the dark photo problem – so now it’s terrific :)

    I still have problems with uploading photos, but I do not know if you can help.. I have resized the photos, and it works sometimes and sometimes not – then I get a red line which you use on your “head and footer” I would appreciate if you can look into this matter. Thanks a lot!

    I have sent numerous emails but have not received a response. I purchased the Embellished Tunic Pattern #125 11/2013 on the 5th November. When I go to download it the incorrect pattern appears (maxi dress pattern #129 not #125). Could you please provide me with the correct pattern (Embellished Tunic) to download .

    New issue: I’m Sorry to say; but the members new uploaded projects doesn’t come up!

    My new project are not in my studio at all! I can only see my project under “my activity”, but the number of project has change..

    Member projects for October is much too dark – can somebody look at this issue? (you can compare the projects with the originale in the members studio). All projects has been dark since this happened the 27th of Oct.

      I’m really Happy that you have solved the dark photo issue :) Thank you very much! I did post a draft today and I can not find it in the members project. In my studio it looks like it’s the first one I have done.. I don’t know how this could happend since I made the draft the 28th of Oct. and waited for posting it since the photos where so dark.. Can you pls look into this matter. Thanks again!

    I would like the option to view the graphic black and white drawn garment image when browsing through the pattern store, instead of the model photos. The photos are eye catching, but when I’m browsing for something specific it is easier to see the composition of the garment automatically. I find I give up faster because opening every pattern to see how it is made is so time consuming.
