    I have 2 Burda free patterns I wish to download, but I am only given the option to download the instructions, where is the PDF file to download the pattern?

      Some of our free patterns only provide instructions. You will need to thoroughly read the instructions to determine if they direct you to draft your own pattern pieces.

    I have 2 patterns – 144 Burda Style 11/2012 sizes 44-52 which is far too big for me, and 121 Burda Style 11/2010 which has no sizes given at all, and from which the pattern layout is not there. I did not see a place to request the size I wanted when I ordered. I have traced #144 and tried laying the pieces over #121 but that has not helped with either problem. Having just made a dress and coat from Burda Style shop-bought patterns, I was keen to try more. And I want to order another one but want to check with you first.

      In the instruction PDF, there are instructions on how to draft the pocket and waistband pieces.

    Hi Lots of us are getting a ‘502 Bad Gateway’ message which started in the last 24 hours. Please fix???? Thanks. I have noticed that whenever something goes wrong, it is always on a Monday, after the website has been updated.

    Hello Can you help me please, i have purchased Burda Style 115 Peplum Blouse, but i cannot download the pattern. i have downloaded patterns twice before, but this one only gets to 490kB/1.38MB and jams. i am ready to sew, but need the pattern. please help me.

      Here is a link to detailed instructions on how to download and print our patterns:


      You may want to try to RIGHT CLICK (PC) or CTRL CLICK or OPTION CLICK (MAC) the download links and then choose SAVE. After saving to your computer, then open the pattern/instructions with the most recent version of Adobe Reader.

      Click on your username in the upper right corner of any web page, then click the ACCOUNT tab, then click PERSONAL ACCOUNT INFO and you can change your password there.

    I recently registered for this class, but did not ever receive or accidentally deleted the email that should have had the event information in it. How can I go back and watch the class? It does not appear anywhere under my account or activities but the charge is present on my credit card.

      All registrants (regardless if they attend the webinar live) will receive a “Thank You” email the following Monday (or Thursday if the webinar was held on a Monday) with a recording of the event, the Q&A transcript, and any additional downloads/resources referenced during the event. You will also have the opportunity to email the presenter any follow-up questions you might have after watching the recording.

      Please note that our webinar emails include live links and sometimes will end up in a JUNK or SPAM folder. So be sure to check there.

    The desert moto jacket is a great look. Being new to Burda I have a question on it. The sizes are something like 60-80. These are obviously plus sizes and are not even listed in the size chart for the pdf download. Can someone help me? I really would like to make this jacket but am not in the size ranges listed! Thanks! PS, the safari skirt in the same collection is in “regular sizes”!

    Hi, I just tried to log in with my burdastyle ID to purchase one of the web seminars but it did not work. Do I have to register again to get to the seminars? That’s weird, because it says burdastyle on top of the page…

      The username and password that you use for BurdaStyle.com will not work for our webinar or video web sites. You will need to create a new membership for each of our web sites that you would like to access.

      Try to RIGHT CLICK (on a PC) or CTRL CLICK (on a MAC) and then choose to SAVE the pattern to your computer. We recommend that you view and print the pattern with Adobe Reader.

      Once you click “Get It” on the pattern page, the pattern is automatically sent to your Purchase History page within your profile. Go to your profile by clicking on your username, and click on Pattern Library. You can also access your Pattern Library in the right-hand side of the homepage.

      Click on your FRIENDS tab and then hover your mouse over the person’s username. A trashcan icon and the word REMOVE will appear. Choose that.

    Hi BurdaStyle support, I do have the same problem with uploading photos as we had before. I’m getting the pink line everytime I try to upload a photo. I have tried to resize the photos as well, but without any luck. Can you pls have a look at this issue. Thanks in advance.

    I am new to this site & have found several how-to’s I want to print, but must wait for more ink, so to save my chosen topics instead of having to traverse the full site again, I wanted to save. can’t find the “save” button, so I hit the “add to my toolbox” button. now – how to I access this button?

    after reading the other posts, I am not at all sure I will hear back from this site.

    I am an experienced dressmaker but am having trouble understanding the instructions for Burda Style pattern no #103C U necked dress which I purchased last week.

    Page two para 4 deaing with the front pleat is very complicated and I would appreciate further or simpler instructions. I am at a standstill with my project. Please help – a few illustrations would help as to what is meant.

    I suppose my problem is the same as Ellen Hatteland’s: When trying to post a new project, I can’t upload pictures. My pictures are the right size and I’ve posted from this computer using this browser (new Mac, using Safari) before without trouble. Now, when I try to upload a picture, it doesn’t show up as a thumbnail no matter how long I wait. Instead, the whole line in which it should appear is filled up with the white-and-pink grid of the burdastyle logo. And when I try to finish the draft, the side says no pictures were uploaded. I’ve tried several times last night and this morning with the same result. And I couldn’t help but notice that there were no other new projects posted in the mean time which leads me to suspect other members are having the same problem.

      Thank you – I appreciate your answer, and I’m sorry about the trouble you have had lately. I do have a small issue; in my studio it says that I have 20 projects where you can view all, but I have 57 projects now. This is not a big deal for me, but if it’s easy to fix I would appreciate that. I really enjoy your site and I happy to be a part of it :)
