    I just ordered a pattern to print at home. I did it on my phone thinking it would send the pdf to my email and I could print it from my computer. The pdf popped up on my phone and now it’s gone. Does it really not come via email? And how do I get it back?

    I am a Home Ec graduate with a teaching credential and have been sewing for about 70 years; therefore I consider myself an experienced sewer. I have made a wedding dress, suits (both men and women), and various other projects. I am now working on my first Burda pattern and find it very difficult. Why not put notches on seams rather than use numbers? I suggest you form focus groups for any future pattern development.

    Hello BurdaStyle since the last three days I can’t see any newer member projects. Also yesterday I tried to add a new project and it didn’t show at the projects. My Activity showed 6 projects but my studio had only 5 projects total amount. Then I removed the last project..

    I purchased pattern 10/2015 111B. The instructions refer to numbers (for example "baste band ends together (7)), as if there are illustrations to be looking at, but I don’t see any illustrations, so I can’t tell what the instructions are referring to. Am I missing something? thanks

    I bought the sewing with Knits video and in it she says that she will email the slides and moves quickly through them. I’m wondering if those that got the video can also get the slides. Otherwise, the video doesn’t help too much.

      Has anyone replied back to you yet? This is so frustrating BurdaStyle is the only pattern company I use and enjoy being able to have them digitally!! I hope this gets resolved soon!

    I would like to know why topics that have absolutely NOTHING to do with sewing are allowed on this site? I am increasingly bombarded with photos of overly-endowed and scantily clad women that I have to scroll through to get to actual sewing projects. It is offensive and annoying. People selling products that have nothing to do with sewing is also annoying. There are currently 16 inappropriate posts on page one of the “projects” section.

      I also have noticed this and I agree There should not be pornagraphic images on a sewing site and I sent a message complaining and hopefully this is brought to someones attention and something is done about it

    I tried to buy some patterns, but it declined my credit card saying something about the cvv. But, there is a pending charge of $1.00 from Burdastyle showing on my credit card. What is going on?

      The pending charge should drop off.

      I apologize for the trouble you are having placing your order. There are a few different reasons this could be happening. First, if you are an international customer, it could be that your bank does not allow international charges. If this is the case, you can talk to your bank and they can usually assist you in placing the order. The second is that your bank may not recognize Burda as a legitimate site, and so it denies the transaction. Usually the financial institution will check it out and you will be cleared to use it in 24-48 hours, so you can just try again. Or third, our system does not recognize your banking institution. Typically this happens when you are using a temporary credit card (such as a gift card). If this is the case, you will need to try to place your order using another card.
      You could try using a different Internet browser for the purchase (i.e. Chrome, FireFox, Internet Explorer, etc.) to see if that clears up the issue.
      We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit/debit/gift cards.
