    For the last few days I’ve been experiencing problems while browsing through the site, can you please help me with this issue? It takes really long to open any page on the site, and I keep getting a “Warning: Unresponsive script” prompt that says “A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.” This only happens on this site, and it occurs all the time which makes using the site almost impossible. I tried with cleaning my cookies, restarting my browser and running my browser in safe mode but the problem keeps occurring. I’m using firefox and safari on mac, and I’m having the same problem on both of the browsers. Can you please help me?

    Is it possible to download the ‘Instructions’ only? I bought and downloaded a pattern that contained two patterns, but only one of the patterns included directions

      Some of our patterns will share a PDF with another pattern. If there are pieces on the PDF that are not mentioned in the Instructions, you can just ignore the pieces. If you would like to make the other pattern shown on the shared PDF, you will need to purchase that pattern separately in order to have access to the instructions.

    two months in a row now I have received emails advertising kits I was interested in, however the price listed when I click “buy now” is NOT the same as the price listed in the email and I do not see a coupon code or discount listed. This months kit is advertised as 24.99 in my email but is 34.99 on the website when I try to buy it What do I do?

    Thank you. I see now where the sizes are on the page and have ordered 2 more. I did see ‘plus sizes’ but as my other Burda patterns are sized 38-48 and 36-50 had made the wrong assumption. Never mind, I can still use the one I mentioned, just with some fiddling. You did not mention the cutting layout being missing. Reason I ask is that instruction sheet says ‘interfacing – see pattern layout’ and there isn’t one (there is one with the other pattern).

      Some of our free patterns only provide instructions. You will need to thoroughly read the instructions to determine if they direct you to draft your own pattern pieces.

    I have 2 patterns – 144 Burda Style 11/2012 sizes 44-52 which is far too big for me, and 121 Burda Style 11/2010 which has no sizes given at all, and from which the pattern layout is not there. I did not see a place to request the size I wanted when I ordered. I have traced #144 and tried laying the pieces over #121 but that has not helped with either problem. Having just made a dress and coat from Burda Style shop-bought patterns, I was keen to try more. And I want to order another one but want to check with you first.

      In the instruction PDF, there are instructions on how to draft the pocket and waistband pieces.

    Hi Lots of us are getting a ‘502 Bad Gateway’ message which started in the last 24 hours. Please fix???? Thanks. I have noticed that whenever something goes wrong, it is always on a Monday, after the website has been updated.

    Hello Can you help me please, i have purchased Burda Style 115 Peplum Blouse, but i cannot download the pattern. i have downloaded patterns twice before, but this one only gets to 490kB/1.38MB and jams. i am ready to sew, but need the pattern. please help me.

      Here is a link to detailed instructions on how to download and print our patterns:


      You may want to try to RIGHT CLICK (PC) or CTRL CLICK or OPTION CLICK (MAC) the download links and then choose SAVE. After saving to your computer, then open the pattern/instructions with the most recent version of Adobe Reader.

      Click on your username in the upper right corner of any web page, then click the ACCOUNT tab, then click PERSONAL ACCOUNT INFO and you can change your password there.

    I recently registered for this class, but did not ever receive or accidentally deleted the email that should have had the event information in it. How can I go back and watch the class? It does not appear anywhere under my account or activities but the charge is present on my credit card.

      All registrants (regardless if they attend the webinar live) will receive a “Thank You” email the following Monday (or Thursday if the webinar was held on a Monday) with a recording of the event, the Q&A transcript, and any additional downloads/resources referenced during the event. You will also have the opportunity to email the presenter any follow-up questions you might have after watching the recording.

      Please note that our webinar emails include live links and sometimes will end up in a JUNK or SPAM folder. So be sure to check there.

    The desert moto jacket is a great look. Being new to Burda I have a question on it. The sizes are something like 60-80. These are obviously plus sizes and are not even listed in the size chart for the pdf download. Can someone help me? I really would like to make this jacket but am not in the size ranges listed! Thanks! PS, the safari skirt in the same collection is in “regular sizes”!

    Hi, I just tried to log in with my burdastyle ID to purchase one of the web seminars but it did not work. Do I have to register again to get to the seminars? That’s weird, because it says burdastyle on top of the page…

      The username and password that you use for BurdaStyle.com will not work for our webinar or video web sites. You will need to create a new membership for each of our web sites that you would like to access.

      Try to RIGHT CLICK (on a PC) or CTRL CLICK (on a MAC) and then choose to SAVE the pattern to your computer. We recommend that you view and print the pattern with Adobe Reader.

      Once you click “Get It” on the pattern page, the pattern is automatically sent to your Purchase History page within your profile. Go to your profile by clicking on your username, and click on Pattern Library. You can also access your Pattern Library in the right-hand side of the homepage.

      Click on your FRIENDS tab and then hover your mouse over the person’s username. A trashcan icon and the word REMOVE will appear. Choose that.

    Hi BurdaStyle support, I do have the same problem with uploading photos as we had before. I’m getting the pink line everytime I try to upload a photo. I have tried to resize the photos as well, but without any luck. Can you pls have a look at this issue. Thanks in advance.

    I am new to this site & have found several how-to’s I want to print, but must wait for more ink, so to save my chosen topics instead of having to traverse the full site again, I wanted to save. can’t find the “save” button, so I hit the “add to my toolbox” button. now – how to I access this button?

    after reading the other posts, I am not at all sure I will hear back from this site.
