The pattern and the instructions are two separate downloads in your LIBRARY.

All of our available patterns come in downloadable .pdf files. Once you click “Get It” on the pattern page, the pattern is automatically sent to your Purchase History page within your profile. Go to your profile by clicking on your username, and click on Library. You can also access your Library in the right-hand side of the homepage.

The instructions should be in the library but they are not The two separate pdf (pattern and instructions) are of the same file(pattern). Can you please send me a copy of the instructions or refund me.

      Thank you.

I have purchased print at home patterns. I see that all your patterns are to be printed on Letter format paper 8″×11″. Because I’m based in South Africa and we use the British paper size of A4. How may I print the patterns without messing up the sizing?

I bought the boxy jacket pattern(Boxy Jacket 11/2015 #115A) but is it me or are the measurements for the front and back hem band not included? (specified as a and b in the ‘cutting out’ part) It does say right above in the ‘seam and hem allowance to be added’ part that the measurements for part a to d include allowances but i can’t find these measurements anywhere!

Burda is the worst ever! Try another company I’ve waisted a lot of fabric. They don’t include seam allowances or all the pattern pieces? Get your mind bey back!

These are absolutely by far the worst patterns I’ve ever used! what a mess! You have to try to tape them yourself, get them to fit, cut them only to find out after sewing they are too small! What kind of company leaves off seam allowances on some patterns? I would have NEVER bought these if I knew I had to print them myself and try to piece them together. They also do NOT fit on the fabric size as shown. These are Impossible to use! I want a refund TODAY. Thank you.

Here is a link to our complete FAQ about downloading printing and assembling our patterns:
      http://www.burdastyle.com/faq/patterns#faq_13http://www.burdastyle.com/faq/patterns#faq_13

We don’t include seam allowance on our patterns to make it easier to make fit and style alterations to the pattern, as well as giving the sewer the ability to add the seam allowance that they like to sew with. Some fabrics and certain seam/hem finished require different seam allowance widths so we give the sewer the opportunity to add their own seam allowance. Beginner sewers should add wider allowances, and more advanced usually like to sew with thinner allowance. Each pattern indicates the recommended allowance to add to the pattern.

If you have an specific questions about a particular pattern, you can email those to answers@burdastyle.com and I can forward them along to our pattern department.

Also, our Discussions Forum (http://www.burdastyle.com/discussions) is a great place to look for help. Our members have a huge, collective knowledge of all things sewing-related, and chances are if you have questions or trouble, someone else might too. Search through past forum posts, or post a new one. You may find just the answer you need, and help others in the process.

Hi I have purchased Tie Front Blouse 04/2012 #126B and Draft-it-Yourself Diamond Jacket 11/2014 #116 but there is no pattern available for download in my account Library.

    Please advise how/what to do?

These patterns are Draft It Yourself. Most of our .99 patterns only provide instructions. You will need to thoroughly read the instructions to determine if they direct you to draft your own pattern pieces.

HI. Could someone please look at and ‘clean up’ the Discussions Forum?

It would be nice if you could incorporate a ‘sensoring’ of new members. I am pretty sure several emails I received recently are from ‘spam’ members. Thanks

Hello Burda! I am going to be a squeaky wheel here, and bring a pattern to your guys’ attention for the third time. The Flared Dress 5/2015 #109 has some seriously messed up instructions. When I asked about it the first time, it was brought to my attention that the “sewing course” the instructions referred to were located in the magazine version of the pattern, which is not available where I live. They “revised” the instructions after that-only now they are for the wrong pattern! The instructions now refer to sleeves and gathering in the skirt, both of which are not accurate in the design of this dress. Meg Healy sent me the German instructions, which are still confusing. She also promised to make a sewing course video for this dress, and I’ve been waiting since July to see that video. Can someone PLEASE adjust the instructions so they are for the RIGHT dress this time? I would really love to finish this dress, so I don’t feel like I wasted my money on this pattern. Thanks.

Hi, I tried , on three different occasions, to purchase a downloadable pattern, only to get an error message asking me to please try again later, at the last step. My bank account has now been debited three times, and I still have not received the pattern in my library (I no longer need it as I ended up having to purchase it on burdastyle.co.uk

i would like to purchase pattern “Men’s Waistcoat 04/2013 #136”.

I am confused about sizing. What do these sizes mean:

    94, 98, 102, 106, 110 See Sizing Chart ?

Mens sizing chart does not offer mens sizes 94, 98, 102, 106, 110. What are these numbers and how can I convert them to the mens sizes offered in Burdastyle sizing chart?

While BurdaStyle.com sells burda style magazine patterns we do not publish all of a magazine’s content. We do not and can not publish any burda style magazine patterns from an issue prior to 2010.

If you are looking for a particular pattern, you can browse our Pattern Store or enter the issue date (without the variation number) of the pattern into the search bar. Example: 10/2012
