  I’m completely new to sewing. Do you have any books you would especially recommend to a beginner sewing that is looking to be self taught? Thank you for this site. Your clothing is beautiful and from the posts I’ve seen they all seem to have a great fit. It is so exciting to find such high quality patterns for free! I’m excited to learn enough to be able to try my hand at some of it :).

  this website is pretty dang cool … i was looking for something exactly like this. it’s encouraging to know that once i start sewing i’ll have a good environment to show stuff and get feedback. quick question: is there a general introductions page anywhere? being the total noob to the site (i’d never even heard of the magazine[?!?]) seems like most sites have something like that. just wondering. cheers!
