Hello Gang,
I left a follow up message for Benedikta regarding obtaining some sliders for the American Cancer Society Bow Tie fund raiser. But I think she might be in Europe having a wonderful time???
So, if any of you talk with her, could you ask her the status of my sliders???
And yes, I’ve already ordered sliders using the link given in Nikkishell’s sewalong, but that didn’t give me what I needed.
Thank you!

I would like to make the Francesca 6024 dress in a Burda size 60 (woman’s plus size). How much yardage would I need for that size? I need to know if I have enough fabric.
Thank you!

I see you guys are now charging for a lot of you patterns. I think that in doing so you pretty much ruined the idea behind “open source” sewing. it’s not really open source anymore.
sorry but it’s kinda true.
I love this site, the patterns are great and the idea behind it is wonderful, but what I say is still true.

This site is truly an inspiring forum and a breath of fresh air (which is hard to come by in Brooklyn…fresh air, that is) for people like me who are always looking to improve in every way I possibly can. Burdastyle, The new ‘photos’ part of the site is awesome! I’ve already spent my whole morning flipping through the featured members and their sewing environments. I love seeing how other people have set up their stashes and such! Luckily this new addition to the site came after my finals at school, otherwise I don’t know how much studying would have been done. :) Keep up the great work, ReneeBeth

Thanks for sharing great designs with us, I am very grateful, however are you aware that clothes which i have made from your patterns always turn out too large and sometimes ill fitting. It seems some of your other members are having this trouble. Please could you take this into account for future projects. Your patterns have cost me at lot of lost £’s in material.

Dear Burdastyle, Finding your website a year ago is a BLESSING! THANK YOU so so so much for making a great awesomelishous splendiferous website! The things I learned from your tutorials, tips, blogs and the patterns y’all make are so great! I can make clothes for any kind of person, especially for my Mom who is a plus size. She doesn’t like to shop because of her size but she felt happy because I made her pants and a top for her from your patterns! I never thought I can find flattering patterns until I found your site. THANK YOU so much again!!! XOXO, Lindsay =)!

I am impressed -the personal measurement cards arrived Monday and a big thank you for the kind pressie to my school kids – however – I must say your site needs a health warning attached!!! I’m getting a little addicted to finding out what everyone is doing and I am in serious danger of “finding my mojo” again regarding Burda patterns! Mind you I haven’t found too many pics of bodies of my age and type!!so it might be a while before I post myself wearing anything. Ooops – just realised how naive I am being….a body double is what I want for that! Cheers!

What happened to the homepage? There is no pattern tab, the other tabs don’t respond, and I can only find this way to ask. I will keep trying to see if the error is at my end. Nehmah

I sewed well in the sixties and then sporatically since, always with effort. This site, found by my computer-literate daughter, has really started me thinking and getting excited about sewing again. My daughter whips out these creations that have differences with the patterns that I never would have attempted or even thought of. All the Creations on your pages are so inspirational and exciting. Thank you to you and all the Creators on your pages-this is fun!

FAO ALISON.
Hi Alison, thanks for trying to solve my creations page problem. I have tried uploading using both methods, to no avail. The only thing I don’t understand is that when I press ‘save’ I get a message in red telling me there is a problem, and that the name already exists. It’s true that there are various ‘pink jacket’ creations, but does this mean I have to call it something else, or just ignore the message? I have only uploaded one other creation, and had no problem at all. I’m now going to try with a different creation, and see what happens. Hope you can sort this out. Thanks, Margaret.
