i have been busy sewing the last few weeks. several dresses for the girls, shorts and a backpack for the little man. i am currently working on an ‘afternoon tea top’ ; but i need someone to help me with fitting it; can’t do it on my own and two underbust corsets; but having trouble putting the eyelets in. i also have a bubble dress, half done for my niece; i made the pattern myself so we’ll have to wait and see how it turns out.. i think i should stick with one project at a time so as not to forget where i am though!! i’ve gotta remember to take pics when the girls wear their dresses so i can post for all to see.

I've been sewing heaps lately and now the 9yo wants to try her hand at it. So we are currently making school dresses. I thought it best to start her off with lots of straight lines to sew and overlock.
