Hello there – remember you kindly sent me a Burda style magazine ages ago !! Well I trust that all is well with you — reading through old messages I remembered that I haven’t looked at that mag. for AGES — must look for it and remind myself what’s in it ! Take care and regards… Kath

Hello – this request has nothing to do with sewing, but I’m hoping you might be able to help me. My daughter is getting married, in England, in May. They are actually getting married on the Isle of Wight, but she and her fiance live in London. My husband and I are looking for someplace relatively inexpensive to stay for 4-5 days before the wedding so we can help them with the last minute “stuff”. I had something lined up, but it fell through. Might you have any suggestions?
Thank you! Maureen (a.k.a. Sewingqueen)

I glad you thin this way! what is that craze about high heels those days? ! I want to run!!!! Thanks for your kind comments I don’t think my latest instalment is very wearable. I think it would be more practical if the legs were wider. By the way, Pattern Magic3 is Fantastic. The edgiest (Volume 2 is a edgy too but not as successfully) of the pattern magic collection…don’t think I would wear any of the model presented for real but it is amazing for inspiration! Keep well!

Wider, maybe. Maybe line them?
I have the two other pattern magic books of course ; ) Didn’t really use them yet, but want to one day. You can never have too many nice books.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment you left on my balloon dress. Yes, it can be worn by a grown up as a top. I am so glad you like it. I went nuts when I saw all the pink cars, vans and buses and it took like 10 minutes to make it. A project to my liking!
Thanks again!

Thanks! I did make an effort to choose things that I really like that haven’t been up on the front-page or chosen by the featured members before me… I’m glad you noticed it :-)!
Jan 28, 2009, 07.33 AMby ichigogirl
Nope, I haven’t started the yamamoto yet :-(. I begun to sticky-paste the pattern-pieces together but there are just TOO many of them… I will take it up again sometime however. Well, I look around, and when I find creations I like I look at the other creations of that member too… a great source of inspiration! I like all of your stuff, and the bags are just great! If I find my pieces of black leather (bought them, put them away, forgot where..) I’ll have to try making one too!
