  Hello Angel,

  Thank you for joining me today in ‘my classroom’. I think we had a good discussion on pros and cons of Live Webcam sewing.

  Not sure about your streaming ads though. Never visited your BurdaStyle channel before and I was confronted by quite graphic rape scene. Would not like it if my children, keen on sewing, were to visit your profile. (Not an issue now of course as they are all older than 25!).

    Hmmm, that is disturbing. I have sent an email to my video distributor – I may have to pull videos if they are advertising like that!

    After contacting the company they seem to be as baffled as I am – can you recall what was being advertised? Or give me a better description so I can froward it to them?

    It would have been just before 8.30pm BST which is when I posted on your wall.

    Don’t let them say I was mistaken because I wasn’t. It wasn’t that I was shocked, I have three grown up sons. It’s a great add in the wrong place. I’m sure you will agree.

  How are the streaming ads working out for you? Does it affect the # of views you get at all? I’ve been debating whether I want to switch to that…

    It hasn’t affected viewership and it’s making me more revenue… so far so good. Also it appears as if the streaming ads only appear when watching at YouTube.com – it doesn’t appear on an embedded video. (At least currently that could change). If it makes you nervous you could “test” it by turning on the ads on a new video and see if it under-performs compared to your others. But I think since you provide quality content for free there is more tolerance for ads and you can get away with it. I think it’s worth at least testing.
