Hello from Montreal Amy, I loved your Mother of Pearl Buttons: A Uniquely American Triumph article and the buttons are quite yummy ;-) I just made a nice button necklace and I am contemplating mother of pearls buttons I just acquired yesterday in a charity counter. I saw your site looking for new inspiration, I used to dislike those buttons because of the way they felt to my touch … kind of weird, but I am okay with them now I guess because they are sooooo pretty !
