    I love military styles but personally can’t get away with anything too austere, so I thought making it a victorian style would give it a more feminine look.

    Thank you! :-) the patterns come from an american company – Truly Victorian. they’re a bit pricey but worth it as the instructions are pretty straightforward and great to work with.

    thank you! It is a bit colourful compared to what i’d usually wear :-) but I decided to add the gold underskirt in case the venue was dark and I didn’t want to blend into the shadows too much!

    yes, they are pretty straightforward to use – well the skirts are at least. The bodice top was a bit more of a challenge!
