You are most welcome. It is a beautiful dress and it upset me that someone could be so mean spirited. I used to spend a lot of time here and have made some friends through Burda. I’ve never seen anyone act like that before.

Oh, that’s near that “square” park isn’t it? Like near Mimi’s? I have icecream with my son and his dad’s dad in that suare during the summers.

Sebastopol is only like 10-15 minutes away from me! I know a few people who live there too. Where abouts in Sebastopol?

Hi AllyGally, Hope you are enjoying your pattern cutting class! I looked on your website and saw you had made some bags with embroidered monograms – do you have an embroidery machine to do these or can you do them by hand? I really want some like this but haven’t a clue how to do them – I can’t afford an embroidery machine, they are v. expensive! Your input would be much appreciated. Thanks : ) ps. A tip for your pattern cutting; if you don’t have it already the pattern cutting book by Winifred Aldrich is the best I have ever used, if you can find it, I think it will help you a lot

Hi Ally, Thanks for your comments on my green pleated skirt. I love the color, too! BTW, the fabric was bought in one of those cheap stores I wrote you about. How’s your quilt going? I’m looking forward to see it. Ana

Hi, thanks for your comment on my brown skirt. I did write in the pattern code when uploading but it’s now nowhere to be seen! The pattern is B4859 Butterick and it is a really easy one to sew. Have fun!

Lol. I’ve gotten plenty of messages otherwise and I have also sent positive comments to people here. Don’t post your projects on a public forum if you aren’t prepared for an honest opinion. As someone who enjoys sewing, I would equally appreciate someone’s honest opinion about my project and understand that I don’t have to like everyone’s personal opinion. Disliking someone’s project and sharing an opinion is not being mean just because it isn’t what people want to hear.

Probably why you haven’t posted any projects. Funny, did you notice that your comment was removed from Melinda’s project? There is a difference between constructively critiquing someone’s work and telling them that it looks ridiculous. That is just plain mean. I looked at your comments, and I didn’t see too many positive ones. No matter, you are who you are and obviously you think you’re doing just fine. Have a nice life Trolling people. There’s something wrong with living your life that way.
