  I just checked Sew Toy Tales on amazon, it looks cute!Esp. Pearl the Zebra and Tilly the Doll! I think making toys is a good way to improve your techniques! I’m planning to make more as well, so no owls for a little bit :).

  Making a stuffie of your logo is such a GREAT idea! I thought you might like this also: http://homemadebyjill.blogspot.com/2011/06/owl-mobile-with-tree-template.html What a shame though that the quality of the leftover fabrics is below par :( Hope you can use them for something!

    Neenkster, this is really lovely. I love the owl crib mobile it’s sooo charming. Thank you for sharing. I might try to do this.

    The fabrics are of very lovely quality, it’s my craftmanship that’s below par. :)

  Hi Alena :) I didn’t post the other toys on Burdastyle because I’m my own worst critic and I think they’re not Burdastyle worthy, haha! I made 5 owls for the Toys for Tots charity :). Will post them soon! Are you working on any new toy?

    I am going to try two more toys from Sewn Toy Tales, then I think I am going to hunt for another book that might improve my technique.

    I’ve got some left over fabric from my children’s collection (small home-based business) and thought I could put them to good use by making little stuffies out of them. But the quality is simply below par Neenkster. :(

    Do post your owls! Please do. My logo is an owl and I am hoping to make a stuffie out of that design and use it as decor for my booth at fairs. :)
