  I just wrote to friends in Huntsville when your adorable candy blankie popped up-you are humble, but also very good. The pastel apron is sweet, too. Nice work. Now I see from your pics why my friends moved there-beautiful! He’s a postal worker…gets to enjoy the scenery.

  Aw, you left such a nice comment on my coat, thanks! :) I definitely agree with you as to practicality, but since it was the first coat I ever sewed I decided to abide by the “pattern rules.” I used Vogue’s 8465.
