Thank you. All 3 of my children live in the south, so where my heart is, too. Daughter is 40 mi. from Nashville, snowing there today. Ha! Perfect crocheting weather. Enjoy your weekend.

I just wrote to friends in Huntsville when your adorable candy blankie popped up-you are humble, but also very good. The pastel apron is sweet, too. Nice work. Now I see from your pics why my friends moved there-beautiful! He’s a postal worker…gets to enjoy the scenery.

Thank you for your nice comment on my maternity dress. I love your little embroidery on your makeup bag: it’s so delicate and pretty. Happy Christmas!

hey alazycalm :) (haha, i misread and thought it said “lazy clam” until i typed it.) thanks for your comment on my journal. i love books and making them is great. the process can be very simple. here’s one way to do it if you’d like to give it a go: http://michaelshannon.us/makeabook/ though that’s not what i did with the one i uploaded. :)

My son graduated from VT in 1992. His wife is from FSU. Once or twice a year, there is most certainly NOT peace in the McGehee household. I stay away from the house when the two teams play one another. Cordially, Nehmah

Aw, you left such a nice comment on my coat, thanks! :) I definitely agree with you as to practicality, but since it was the first coat I ever sewed I decided to abide by the “pattern rules.” I used Vogue’s 8465.
Cheers,
Lizz

Thanks for your comment on my Charlie bag…I saw on your profile that you are from Huntsville. Huntsville, Ontario? I spent some time working in the Park and of course, made the trek in to ‘town’ quite a bit too!

thank you for your comment.
you asked me why i think that burdastyle is no longer an open source project. well, you have to pay for it! all the creations you have uploaded are advertisement for the patterns they are selling here. this is sad, because everybody thought burdastyle was a non-profit-project and just a big community. if you want to know more check http://www.burdastyle.com/forum/show_topic/12064

Oh, I think your shrug looks really neat! You’re very brave to try garments, I just knitted scarves so far :D I also love your flower necklace! Thanks for your comment on my brooch! It is hand-felted with water and soap and it’s easier than I thought! I added some more informations on the creation site, because others were also interested.

aw, thanks! I think looking at others’ stuff is pretty fun too – right now I’m wondering how I missed your embroidered portrait!? SO COOL. that’s amazing you know people from Bellingham, you really should stop by sometime!
