Hello there! I call myself a novice, because there is a lot I do not know and find I’m learning every day. I use the Burda mags a lot, I used to buy them, but they are far too expensive these day..soooo I have taken to borrowing them from our local library :-) I also belong to the other Burda site where I can also download patterns, I love the internet and prefer downloading the patterns to drawing them off of the sheets, although I been doing it that way for the past 20yrs hehe! I used to have a stall at the flea market at South Plaza and Amphi Theatre selling my own creations for a number of years, but, all the Indian and Malaysian imports killed that for a lot of us creative persons, as factories in New Germany moved to CT and habedashery requirements prices sky-rocketed..I bowed out. It was a case of go large or go home..lack of finance made me go home lol I have always had a box of all sorts of fabric..just waiting to be made up, as a matter of fact so do most of my sisters too!
