Hi Your very welcome on the PDFs. Agree, Although I know how to draft, at times would rather alter purchased patterns. Do not sew for a living but worked in Grandparents shop for years. I am a retired Sales Rep worked for Kraft, sold Jello etc..
JoAnn Fabrics have a sale starting tomorrow on Burda Patterns for $ 2.49 each quite a savings, they have the seam & hem allowances added just have to trace them, find it less time consuming than printing out some patterns and taping, Simplicity are $1.99 each.
Draping did not read them thought they would give you a few visuals: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/draping-class-fun

Thanks! I was thinking about using patterns for a basis of parts of the dress, too. Could make it slightly less labor intensive.
Oh, and that PDF is great! Thank you!

Oh, I will! I’ll be shocked if I can make it through this project without coming back for more help!
I’ve got 6-7 months until my wedding at the minimum (haven’t set the date yet, but we’re thinking around then), but I’m going to start drafting the pattern tonight if I can. There’s no time to loose with a project of this size that I want to be as close to perfect as possible!
