    Thanks! I was thinking about using patterns for a basis of parts of the dress, too. Could make it slightly less labor intensive.

    I’ve got a couple books at home, although they focus on very “basic” drafting. I’ll have a look through them to see if I can find anything relevant.

    A nice dark gray could work and look nice. Maybe a blue or navy? It would really depend on the shade of yellow… although dark gray does not really scream “summer”, maybe the lightness of the ski…
