I just realized that I should thank you for your lovely how-to! It was very helpful to me the first time I made a Charlie bag. In fact, the cogs in my head are whirring with more Charlie ideas, all of them involving a lining! I could have racked my brains and finally figured out maybe how to do it, but I would have destroyed my bag and my sanity along the way! Thank you for spelling it out so clearly, and thus allowing me more room for creativity!
