  Thanks so much for the comment on my dress! I didn’t use a pattern for it, for the most part I am unfortunately too impatient for patterns. For the top I used a t-shirt as a reference and for the bottom I Just made a bunch of pleats along a length until I could wrap it around my waist, adding a couple upside down darts at the bottom for form. Hope that helps! Great top also, I’m so impressed that a) its the second thing you’ve ever made and b) that it’s a top! I think I only made skirts for the first couple years I was sewing because I was so nervous about top! keep up the great work!

  i want to thank you for your very nice comments! it really made my day :) i love to hear that other members look forward to seeing my creations. however, i feel badly about my absence in the past 5 months. I have been very sick, but i look forward to this summer when i’ll be feeling much better and able to sew!

  Hi Tittabear, thank you for the comment on my wall! Yes, she is my daughter. I also have the man behind the camera, he loves to take pictures of scenery all the time (just for making life happier, not for artistic purpose). We are doing very well. Pictures tell so much more of truth than what was actually taken as a slice of time. That is what I thought by hearing your words. Thank you again!
