dear sew4my3, sorry to be bothering you, but I’m trying to upload a new project and my uploaded photos appeared rotated. This really ruins the project’s picture, what can I do to change this?
Thank you in advance for your help

Hey Sew4my3, I have been having this issue with the “activity” part of my account. I have a “friend” and when she posts stuff, I get like 6 alerts about the same activity. Is there anyway you can help me? I don’t know who to ask. so I hope you are the one. Thanks.
Aug 10, 2010, 05.11 AMby Sew4my3
I will put in a report. I think that this bug has been sending out multiple notices for everything. I too have been getting them. Hopefully the techs will be able to rid the site completely from this little/big bug.
Thanks for letting us know!

dear sew4my3! you have been so kind as to answer me in regards of my problem with the not visible pictures in my profil. you told me, that someone is working on it now (that was 2 days ago). i hope to not sound to pushy, but until now, nothing has changed at all and i am so sad, that no one can look at my studio anymore.
also i finished some projects meanwhile, but do not dare to put them up, as we have this problem still as of yet.
please let me know, what is going on.
kindest regards and many thanks to you and your patience with my nagging

Hello Ralf Schmitz,
I understand your frustration and am uncertain if this is something that is a result of all the recent site changes or a particular bug attacking only a certain few. I assure you that the techs are aware of your issue and have been putting in the extra time to find the remedy.
Please do not feel that you are nagging. I would be frustrated as well if all of my project photos suddenly disappeared and would want to know what the next step will be. You have put way to much work in to posting them. Also, you are not alone on this problem so it has to get fixed quickly before we have a mutiny on our hands. Now if I hear anything new this weekend I will hunt you down to give you an update and I hope that it will be fixed for you soon. Again, don’t think you are nagging or bothering me and always feel free to contact me at anytime.
Here’s hoping for fun sewing days!

Hey Ralf,
I know it seems like we are getting to be good friends! At least something good is coming out of all of this computer bug stuff!
I have sent in another work order for your studio photos. I am not sure what the status of all of this is just yet but am sure they will let me know soon. It is Area 51 that works on our technical issues, so there is a lot of going back and forth to see where things are at. Yes, Area 51 is the real name! haha
By the way, I love your Sherlock Holmes and luggage piece creations! Very nice! You are always so fast with your sewing and I can’t imagine how you do that! I look forward to hearing from you soon!

thank you for your compliment for my outfit. i really love sewing and spend almoust every free minute of my life sewing, that is why i am quite “fast” with my projects.
i just hope that things are going back to normal.

Hey.
I posted a comment in the discussions about photos. I have had photos posted for my projects for a few months and now all of a sudden they are “broken” or something. I can’t see them. And I even switched to Firefox from Internet Explorer like some people suggested but this has not worked. Is this something that has to fixed by Burdastyle.com or am I supposed to do something?Jul 23, 2010, 06.13 PMby Sew4my3
Hello nhouse,
I’m not sure what the issue is but am going to see if one of our tech people can help.
Someone should get back with you soon.

Oh thank you, you’re so nice! I really hope that your home will be finished and fixed and everything quickly. I’m guessing your sewing has slowed down from this hasn’t it? God bless you, M

What are you working on at the moment?
Many blessings,

May 18, 2010, 05.01 PMby Seussian
Hello, How have you been? If you don’t remember me, we had a conversation about making a tutu a while ago. Just wondering, how is your remodeling going?
God bless, M
May 18, 2010, 10.30 PMby Sew4my3
Hello,
I do remember you and see your activity in the “Discussions” on a daily basis, which is just awesome!
As for the kitchen remodeling, we just had the HVAC guy here yesterday to help reroute ducts. We still have open walls but are getting close to being able to do those. We are putting radiant heat flooring in, so that should be interesting. I am guessing we are about 4 months from being completely finished, so it will be ongoing for a while.
Thanks for asking and the much needed blessings!

Remodeling a ktchen sounds like fun! The next best thing to sewing! Congrats, we have the same birthday… isn’t it fun to be a firecracker! ShereeSews in Michigan
Apr 20, 2010, 05.00 AMby Sew4my3
Hey Shereesews,
It seems we have more in common than birthdays. I was born and raised in Flint, MI. Small world.
Yes I am in the mess of a kitchen remodel and we are down to the studs. I am excited about having a new kitchen but am not looking forward to the next few months of dust. The kitchen was the original 1920’s kitchen with one counter and freestanding stove and refrigerator and no dish washer unless you include me. Needless to say the update had to happen.
Oh and you do know that the fireworks for the 4th of July are just for us?

Just wondering, what are you working on now?
I’m trying to start a tutu, and I just got some really pretty floral fabric today and I’m thinking about a vintage dress of some sort, I don’t know what kind though.
God bless :)

I have been all over the discussion board trying to solve how to upload a project. I have finally figured out how to do it but now every time I click finish, it says to add a material which I have. After I have clicked material. then click something else, it unclicks itself… Help Please… If you know how…
Mar 27, 2010, 02.27 AMby Sew4my3
Hello Annie,
I think your missing the “add new material” below the box in pink letters. It will need to be clicked on and the material will appear to the right of the box. You will need to do this with the style box as well. Let me know if that helps.
Mar 19, 2010, 09.19 PMby EstelleOlivia
AAAh, Thank you! That certainly solves it. I completely didn’t understand what the instructions were saying about folds. Thanks so much!
Mar 20, 2010, 12.33 AMby Sew4my3
No problem. If you need help with anything else, I am happy to help. I can’t wait to see your version of the Sean Skirt! Happy Sewing!
Mar 19, 2010, 04.26 PMby EstelleOlivia
Hi there, I printed off the Sean Skirt pattern at home. The test square is the right size but the skirt front and back pieces look tiny. Any ideas? Have you worked with this pattern at all? Thanks so much, Estelle
Mar 19, 2010, 06.09 PMby Sew4my3
Hmmm… I have not had this issue but will look into it for you. That’s really strange! I will get back to you after I find out the remedy.
Mar 19, 2010, 07.22 PMby Sew4my3
You place the front and back skirt panels on the fold of the fabric. Does this solve your issue?

thank you for your post about the spoonflower win!!! i do have questions, i see they have a knit ,a cotton satin , and deco weight do you have any of these? i am esp thinking about the knit ,is that t-shirt or wrap dress weight?
Dec 28, 2009, 12.48 AMby Sew4my3
Hey gg!
I have only purchased the woven’s, but was thinking about purchasing the knit. I would suggest you try the sample size of the knit to see if it is the weight you need. They say that the knit is Appropriate for many kinds of children and adult apparel items. The quilting weight works well for lightweight garments like tops and the cotton sateen is also a neat finish for garments, it is a natural white, so the ink is not as vibrant as on white. The Bamboo Cotton Rayon is the newest addition to their menu and I have yet to try but think I will order a little tonight and maybe the knit. The upholstery is too heavy for garment making but would make great pillows and other household. The canvas says that it can be used for tea towels, dresses, bags and pillows but I would question for use as a dress. I will let you know how my newest order goes when I receive it. I can’t wait to see what you make from your new unique fabric! Do you think you will design your own or order one of the other designs?
Dec 28, 2009, 11.52 PMby ggexpansive
hi , i am not sure how to post ? but yes i very much want to design my own fabric. i will take a while to post the project cause i want to take a class on using photoshop but i will post at some point.

Hi there, glad you liked Ireland. It really is beautiful in the South around Kerry especially. We do a lot of touring around Ireland ourselves in our camper. I will be going to Boston in January to see my son, he married a Bostonian. I will be making a trip to Joann’s I think.

I’m not sure why the activity keeps messing up but I do know that the computer techs are working on it again. Mine has been doing the same thing along with many other members so we are not alone. Hopefully this will be taken care of quickly.
