Hi! Yes with this sling you can hold a tiny baby all the way up to a toddler. My three-year-old is 35 lbs and still likes to sit on Daddy’s hip in the sling (she’s too heavy for me though!) I found several patterns online, they are all very similar. Here is one that is pretty easy to follow: http://www.ida.net/users/stace/sling.html If you make one let me know how it went and if you have any questions you can message me!

hi. thanks for your comment, it was very insightful. this particular quilt has the wadding inside, but being that im only a newbie to the quilting game, i probably havent done it to the level others can do. I acknowledge its a skill to have and that there is a long and technical history attached to it, but some of the ones ive seen scare me in terms of fabric choice and shapes. I like your grandsons quilt, that would be one of the best ones ive seen done, with a wide variety of fabrics and neat too!

That would be wonderful! I would really enjoy making something similar for Tymon! Thank you so much for your reply. Jan

Hi, Thanks for your message! I just made the pattern up – been doing it for years, as I had 4 kids of my own, and now I have 6 grandchildren! If you like, I can try to scan the paper pieces (I think I kept them), and e-mail them or something! lyn
