Thanks for the great comment on my belly dance costume! It may have been a lot of work but it was worth hearing the audience gasp when the stage lights came on! Again, Thank you!

Wow! I was just looking around at some of my favorites and didn’t realize you had posted some more dance costumes. Very, very nice! Love the colors! I too have posted a dance costume but not nearly as nice as yours! Great job!

Paillettes? I like that word! Your silver costume looks perfect to me as is, but only you know if the skirt needs more paillettes:) I’m sure you have to take movement and lighting into consideration. It must be a blast for you to see your creations on the dance floor!

Hello again RjBouvier! Thanks for the compliment on Lady Hannah’s costume! I will see if I can get some more pictures of the details and let you know when I post them. Sorry the pictures are not that detailed as I had to take a picture of a picture because my girls are away at college and are my models. I can put them on my dress form and get detailed pictures that way. I will be posting some dance costumes soon, but will need to get better pictures of those before I post. I’ll contact you soon.

Hello RjBouvier! Just wanted to say thanks for the compliment on Gwendolyn’s Medieval Dress. That is really neat that you have had a chance to study that era in time. It is easy to get caught up in the romantic side of the era and want to stay but reality is not so sweet. Again, thank you!

My daughters are dancers and I use to make some of their costumes as well. However, I did involve them in the designing and they seem to like the more conservative look. I do have to say that you have definably broke out of your conservative look with both the blue and black one! I look forward to seeing more of your designs and showing my daughters, who are in college at the moment! Happy sewing!
