Hey, I saw in the forum about menswear that you’re looking for a short 70’s style basketball short? There’s one on burdastyle, granted it’s a swim trunk, but I bet it’d be great for what you’re going for!

Hey. Thanks again for your nice comment. To answer your question ( I do not know if you saw it on the site ) I have widen the legs below the knees because skinny models are not my favourite.

Thanks for your comment! no i’m not particularly tall but i’m not one for mini skirts/dresses so that’s why I lengthened the skirt. I lengthened the bodice so that the end of the bodice would fall just below my hips, making my torso look a bit longer- I think I just find this particular cut suits my shape:)

Thanks for your comment – I am jealous that you are enjoying spring! Here in London it has gotten c-o-l-d, and we didn’t even get a proper summer either! Anyway, thanks & enjoy your springtime sewing projects!

Oh trust me, I tried several ways to put them on and it doesn’t get better ;) It is really difficult to let them look good. I also think that the belt isn’t very comfy (because it has to be tied hard to hold the pants on the hips). But, that’s life, some patterns are nice and some are not ;)

Hey Rant! Thanks for your comment! Have you been to Neil Young’s gig yet? I love him

Hi Mira! Thanks for the comment! Well mobile phones have little bags so they won’t get scratches and are a little bit secured from water or dirt ;) If you actually take your mobile phone with you every second, that might become a problem. That’s the mystery ;)

Hi, Mira! I got the bamboo at Hancock Fabrics—originally used it to make a wrap shirt that’s also on here, and the Sadie was from the larger leftover pieces. Unfortunately, it was at the going-out-of-buisness sale for the store that was here, and now all I have is Joann’s (which has nothing even close to organic bamboo). So I need to figure out a good place to get some more of it—you’re right, it is a great fabric! And so comfortable! Thanks for stopping by!

Thank Ü for the favorite on: Curve Tendency Skirt

Unfortunately no pattern exist, I started with the Curve Tendency Skirt Design Sketch and made it while measuring myself and adding ideas along the progress of the project.
I am very pleased it triggered your eye!

Thanks for your nice comment on my shorts! The tipps are really great and I will try them as soon as I find the time. The top is unfortunately not homemade, but I plan to sew it, because I like how it looks.

thankyou for comment on pj top! this was my first burdastyle pattern project, pyjamas are always good coz it doesn’t matter if they don’t turn out perfect! the wood panelling is just the siding on the outside of my mum’s house..
