When my Grandmother shared sewing with me when I was eight years old and I watched a flat piece of fabric become something else. I thought it was magic! Even though she had an electric sewing machine she was afraid of having me use it, so she taught me how to sew on her old treadled. What treat!!! I have been hooked ever since!!
