Hi Julietta,
Thank you for your nice comment on my Patrones dress. I left a comment on alterations on my creation’s page (so that other members could read it as well), that you might find useful.

Hi Julietta, Nehmah again. While hunting a reference on glovemaking, I ran across a website that might be of help. (vintagesewing.info/index.html) This is a free library service that has downloads w/o charge. At least I wasn’t asked to do anything except support the site. On the main page, scroll down to “tailoring” click, scroll to “1916 Tailored skirts” section. They have instructions for several styles. As this is from an old sewing school textbook, the instructions are relatively easy to follow. I hope you find what you are looking for. I’ve run out of places to refer. Cordially, Nehmah

Julietta; If you want to try your hand at the gored skirt, aka walking, travel, etc. go to www.marquise.com; click enter (English or German); click 1900’s; go to Patterns, 1900’s; on the page"Early 20th Century patterns, about 6-8 down there are several gored skirts listed; pick one; she has links to the directions of the time and other aids. I really love this website. Hope this is of some use. Cordially, Nehmah
