Hi Haleema! Thank you for your comment on the nightgown. Maybe soon it will be time again for warm nighties! I’ve been in India for 5 weeks and am home again—can’t wait to sew some more!

Haleema your comments on the modesty of my clothes made me smile. There are lots of reasons for my modesty – I hate being cold and I get sunburnt too easily in the Australian summer are the two main ones. I guess I’m a practical kind of woman! Thanks for your posting.

Hehe! I don’t put clothes on him often…he’d eat them, but seemed to like his costume. I have a feeling that my bunny is bigger than your dog…strange thought. Ted’s about 6.5kg (14lbs). Dog clothes probably wouldn’t fit him!

Hi Haleema, thanks for the nice words about my Kathrine. I now added pictures of me wearing it. And I finally made it to the ‘members creations’ with the pattern. I seems I am the only one that finished it. Cannot believe that! Bye, Hilda

Hello Haleema! Thanks for commenting on the little stripey cat. I think everyone has a talent for sewing stuffed animals, you only have to bring that talent to the surface! :) It was really not that difficult, thanks to the pattern and instructions. Ah, spring… yes, I’m getting ready for it, too! I just want to sew a skirt like your long, white one first – then I’ll be truly ready!

Horray for sheets! Your Edwardian-style outfit is very stylish and looks quite comfortable too. Thank you for the compliments on my housecoat; I’m so happy to have inspired you. I’m thinking I might make a sheet-dress again soon! Found this unusual floral-printed sheet at the thrift store recently that I’m going to make a 40s coat-dress out of.

Thanks for your kind comment on my autumn top, also your suggestion about the necklace – great idea! I can guarantee the bust is not screaming ‘look at me’ (more likely ‘where is it’?)!!!!!!!!!

On my BW plaid gown, what you you think of the trim on the waistline? I was thinking of either taking that off and putting trim on the hem of the dress, or adding lacing to the back of the dress to make it more fitted. The problem with the waist trim is that it visually collides with wearing a belt, which is why I’m using a cord as a belt in the photos.

Thank you for your nice comment. I love the design of the flower cushion, too. I want to edit it with other colors again. The green of small size was small and seemed to do a lacework.

Thanks so much for leaving my first comment ever! I definitely appreciate the encouragement. By the way, your creations are just lovely. I think too often people tend to turn modesty into a somber thing, as though it were something to be mourned. Your designs are so bright and playful! Very refreshing to see.

Good idea for my tulip fabric Haleema, I have a favorite pattern for a simple skirt and top, now to decide, satin top or skirt…yes I will have Jack snap pix for me of both “matching bag and outfit” creations when finished. I value your opinion,TYVM!

Thanks for your comment on my mint tunic. Isn’t this just the best site where you can see so many different creations and talk with people who have the same interests (sewing) from all over the world? I love it! Take care.

Thank you, Haleema, for your nice comment on my blue flowers summer top. I think I may still be able to wear it for a bit longer this year before things cool down! I really like your slip skirt – it’s very beautiful and so well made. Best wishes, Frenchpea
