  No that’s cool, i’m a graphic designer so I understand what you mean about not following the tech’s of sewing. So .. with the skirt, how does making a separate band help to widen the bottom? it is that if I open up the bottom a bit more and then put a longer band on top it will cover the opening I’ve made an d widen the bottom??( i’m not sure if i’ve explained that too well lol)

  Thanks for the comment! I still have to do some adjustments on the bottom part of the skirt though, it’s still too small- or maybe I just take big steps??!! Any tips?
  Have you made any clothes??:)
