Hello, ER, you are from my stomping grounds. If you go to the parent company, http//www.burdafashion.com website, you will find quite a few nice, free and low cost patterns. Look under the “logout” button for the word "download"> Then on the download page, above the shopping cart icon look for “DE”. While some of the free patterns are on the English page, the neat ones are found on the German(DE) page. So far, I have never been asked to register or login unless I purchase patterns. (But I am logged into the site always.) No PayPal, they use Click&Pay with a credit card. The patterns through that site are downloads, with this nice feature; purchase a pattern and for the next 24 hours you may download any or all sizes of that pattern with no extra charge. I’ve purchased the 2 dirndle skirt styles, the gloves, a dress. If you have sewing experience, then the fact that the instructions are in German won’t be a problem. This site offers (in German) knitting lessons, craft/gift patterns, and so many photos, I really enjoy this site. I hope you will find it useful. Cordially, Nehmah

Thank you for your kind words on the tops. It’s so much fun to make outfits for the girls, they look good in everything! Ahhh the benifits of youth!
Happy sewing

Thank you for your comment on my esther cardigan. This was the first pattern I used from BurdaStyle and I did not know that the seam allowance was included. So it is very big, but also very comfty.
