    Hey yeah we do too have the same birthday! I don’t know much about my vintage darlin’ but I know she was manufactured in 1951- she’s a ‘Centennial’ model that has a special badge commemorating 100 years of sewing service for Singer. I actually did a review of it (and a couple other vintage machine… I have kindof a problem…) a href=“http://zigzaggers.typepad.com/”>on this site. I have kinda tuned up old machines before but never totalt refurbished one! I’d love to find one in a cabinet cos I’d like to have a flat-bed machine, they’re so great for supporting the fabric while you sew.
