Hi, thank you so much for your comment on my dress. The fabric I used is kind of sparkling taffeta. Unfortunately it crumbled a lot but I think it will be fine again after ironing ;-)

Thanks for your comment on my dress. That fabric was $1 a yard (not sure of the metric measurement) :) I probably would have passed it up too if It wasn’t so cheap.

Thank you for your comment on the high waisted bow skirt – sorry its taken me so long to reply! I am lucky to have a boyfriend who is into sewing – just a shame that he’s a lot better than me at it haha! And thank you for the compliment on the cloud top, its one I printed myself :) I sell them on my website www.retropeapod.co.uk take a peek if you get a moment :)
Anyway, take care and hope you’re having a good evening :) xxx

Thanks so much for your comment on my tiered tank. If I get more requests for a how-to I’ll consider it but it’s actually really easy: I just sewed strips of satin onto the outside of a tank top I made before sewing the front and back parts of the top together at the sides. The strips were finished at the bottom with a zigzag hem. The toughest part was making the tank top! Thanks again!

Thank you very much for your comment. The fabric isn’t hard to work with at all! It’s actually easy to work with. I’m sorry, but my English isn’t that good.. :$, love.

Heya Claire! thanks so much for your nice comment on my dress. Yeah, I wasn’t really sure whether the pleather would work, never used it before (am quite a beginner), but it came out fine. Not to sure about how I should wash it though….anyway…thanks! Are you working on something at the moment?

Thanks for your lovely comment on my tulip skirt! I will try my best to make a how-to with pics next time i make a similar skirt. Its quite an easy skirt to make – use the Alexis skirt pattern for the waistband. I would love to see more versions of it.

Hey i love your stuff!! And just saw your post on AmiBambini’s wall…you’re right to be excited about Berwick Street but it is expensive!! When you get a chance head to Brixton market and explore all streets, there is one in every part and they are sooooooo cheap! Perfect for bargains.

Hi, thanks for the comment on my Ute! Your creations are very fun! I got my fabric from the Textile King on Berwick street. You must check out the Cloth House too, there are two, both on Berwick street and bursting at the seams with fabric to die for (you might want to when they ring up the bill..).

Salut!

Bisous bisous.

hello again :-) wish i could find bargain of fabric, ive been down to our local fabric store about 3 times this week and just cant resist buying something!! bit addictive.. The african skirt was quite a good one as my sister had also seen a similar new look version, this one went a bit wrong so i changed it around and sent it to her instead!
