Thanks for your lovely comment on my blouse! Are you not sewing as much anymore or are you just as lazy as me with the project updates?! I always love to see the things you make!

Ah, are you addicted to “winning” old patterns too, it’s dangerous both regarding economy and night sleep… I won many (well, around four) and lost a FEW hours of sleep due to auctions ending when I should have been in bed last week.
No computer? Oh, dreadful! But then again, time not spent in front of the computer usually equals time spent doing meaningful things like sewing or meeting friends, at least for me. But it is a handy tool, I’d be lost without my computer, hope it’s temporary!
Pattern Magic, yes, I got so inspired when I picked it up again the other day that I’m contemplating making a wrapped top instead of a vintage dress, and I just had to blog about it… oouh…
Noticed you mentioning work-computer out of window, I recognise that one… (and Burdastyle can be dangerously addictive too!).
I want more time. Less time at work and more time doing whatever I want!

Hey Karin (know your name now it is on your cowl dress pattern)!
The thing is I don’t have the money now to buy a new computer-I have been lent one to finish of my thesis-no internet, the dvd player is stuck- I don’t even own a tv…. sigh… being a BBC 4 radio addict, I have my hands free… I miss not watching dvds well I purchased a cover stitch machine instead.
What is your job? You have been pretty busy with your creations and blog!
I have been a bit out of this burdastyle business really, this system of facebook-like friend section has transformed me into a lazy user, before I used to scroll through the creation section regardless of whom did what, too bad.
Yeah pattern magic are great, I would like to do one of those futurist long sleeves.
Besty best

Aaaah, that’s insane! Radio is a really good rescue though, and TV’ are just time-consumers really. Hope you can get a PC (or Mac of course) soon though… (they’re like your own little buddy these days). One with a screen big enough to watch dvd’s on.
I’m a landscape architect. Should be really really creative and fun, but at times not even nearly creative and fun enough and I just NEED to create, produce and publish, that’s when I’m up all night sewing and posting stuff…
I miss the message-system of the old Burdastyle, I’m really not keen on this having to keep all activities public, oh well.
I hope you add something soon though, despite the new site, your projects always inspire me so much (also to be a bit more patient, I love the intricate details of your creations, but I’m often too impatient to make anything but relly fast projects myself… I’ve gotta grow up I guess!).

Hi Ms Sauvage! When are you going to share some more of your amazing creations? Michelle told me that you like to have several projects on the go at the same time, is this true? I’m very interested in peoples’ different methods of working. Zoe x

Hi, I am going to London in Nov and was wondering if you could recommend any good fabric shops to go to? I live in Belfast and it’s really poor for cool fabric. Thanks :)

Thank you. Paris was wonderful. My brother and sister-in-law are back in Michigan now he’s working on becoming a photographer so he was more than happy to shoot me in my coat, which I really appreciated. My best to you as well.

Hello, Helene! Thank you for you support (again)! Yes I drafted the dress myself but I don’t think it’s that good to be sent to the Burda team so I’ll give another go at the pattern. Hopefully, I won’t allow myself to mess it up again!! Thank you…

neither do I. But I still want to try the bishop sleeves in a plain dress maybe? I’m so infatuated with that! Anyway, thanks for your nice comment on my blouse!

Hey Helene, poor you, so much bad luck at once. I hope you get a new computer soon and a camera, so we can see more of you. I’m also writing a thesis, an MA thesis in English lit, but I’m rather slow in the process and we don’t have deadlines at our university so I just keep sewing more than writing. But I will need to slow down on the sewing soon, and get some work done ;) Good luck and lots of energy for finishing your thesis, Stephanie xxx
