  I read that you have used the M-sewing patterns and wondered if you could explain to me how the patterns work. I have downloaded a couple, but they seem to have all the pieces printed on only one page. Am I doing something wrong or is there some way of re-sizing the patterns? I love your work and enjoy seeing all of the pieces that you have uploaded at Burda Style :)

    Hi Mary Lou,
    Thanks for lovely comments.
    The m-sewing patterns are actually printed on large sheets, that should be cut into A4 sized ones.
    I used the Adobe Acrobat Professional – it has the Tile option for printing, which cuts large paper sheet into smaller ones, that fit the A4 sheet format.

  Hi Anna,
  you asked me about inlineskating which was my hobby before sewing. I love inline skating over all… in the past I skated marathons and inline skate Touren all over in germany. There are web-communitys of skater like this sewing community at burdastyle… . I also love sewing but to be honest, I don’t feel relaxed when I am sewing, much more excited and impatient. Arrgh… my english ist too bad for conversation. ;)
  What about your dress from magazin 6/09 you pretended to sew, I read at ‘Disscussions’??

  Thank you for your comment on my grey Burda dress! A compliment from someone with your skills is always really flattering :) And I thought the same thing when I first saw the line drawing for the dress- it’s the same shape as the Coffee Date Dress! I guess it’s just a silhouette that appeals to me. Happy sewing and thanks again!

  hi ana,i just resumed from my annual leave and found out that you have really made a lot of fantastic outfits,they are so nice and i can only say that after viewing your fabulous designs there is hope for beginners like me(who are still learning the basics of peddling a machine,lol)

  Eto mene sa nekim novim pitanjem ( ne vezano za ovaj haos na sajtu).
  Kako da pitam i prevedem da mi neko ko koristi pattern maker ili cak i neki drugi program za krojenje objasni kako nacrtaju sliku gotovog modela da je uploduju? Nadam se da razumes sta zelim da te pitam. Znam da skrojim,modelujem,uplodujem i sve ostalo ali kako da nactam model koji sam skrojila da se vidi sta sam skrojilaa da nije rukom? Ono sto sam do sada postavila to su gotove slike a ako skrojim nesto ne znam kako da nacrtam model a da nije rukom. Mozes mi prevesti i postaviti to pitanje na forumu?

  Hi! Thanks for your comment on my bird dress! I actually really enjoyed doing this one, the fitting was just perfect i didnt alter it much at all, just took it in about an inch under the arm as by bust measurement is smaller. The rest of it was just right :)

  Puno ti hvala Ana. Ti zaista jesi divna i to nije fraza. Drago mi je da si podelila svoje misljenje sa mnom. Slazem se sa tobom i nadam se da cu dati barem mali doprinos ovoj zajednici. A ako krojevi budu ok i budu ljudima zanimljivi,ja cu mozda pokusati sa prodajom krojeva po meri. Bojim se malo jer ja jako puno korigujem na probama i tu sam u stvari najbolja ali ako pogledam kakvih sve radova ima smatram da ovo moze dobro da ispadne.
  Moram da te pitam jos nesto. Jesi li ti pokusala sa prodajom svojih radova na Etsy-ju? Mene to jako zanima i volela bih da pokusam.
  Ako ikada naidjes u Suboticu,molim te da mi se javis da popijemo makar pice i da ti pokazem moj grad. Trenutno nemam mogucnost da te ugostim u svom domu jer sam podstanar i nemam slobodnih kreveta ali s obzirom da planiramo sledece godine stambeni kredit,nadam se da cu moci da te pozovem da budes moj gost. Puno,puno hvala na svakom savetu! Ako ikako smatras da bih mogla da ti se oduzim,samo reci!

  Hvala Ana! Divna si. Da,kopca se sa obe strane. Moze se skinuti taj prednji deo pa ostaje jos neobicniji ali nemam tu sliku. Htela sam da se posavetujem sa tobom. Palo mi je na pamet da stavljam besplatno krojeve iz programa Pattern maker. Mogla bih da ubacujem odredjene mere(postojece standardne velicine) pa da svako radi modelovanje prema svojim potrebama. Ako bi neko hteo po meri mogao bi da mi posalje mere i model koji zeli pa da mu posebno krojim. Sta mislis dali bi to moglo da funkcionise s obzirom da nemam slike gotovih modela uradjenih po tim krojevima. Nemam vremena da ih isprobam. Ja radim u Pattern makeru ali po merama musterija. Svi moji radovi osim maturskih haljina su radjeni u tom programu. Sta mislis?
