Enjoy your new office/desk! I liked the office in Brooklyn but it makes more sense for you guys to be next to the fashion district….for unlimited swatching bonanzas :)!
When I come back to NY, I’ll definetly pop by!
Keep well (and warm)!

I am trying to figure out what to do next for the scarf dress contest. Will the voting start again next week or are there just going to be judges? Thanks,
Christine

I saw that you posted the scarf dress challenge and was wondering if you could help me find out why my scarf dress wasn’t included in the slide show. I posted the project on the 22nd with scarf dress in the title. Did I do something wrong? Is there any way to fix it?

Hi Alden,
I have the same question regarding email. I am looking forward to getting a club going in the Nine Mile/ Spokane, WA area. However I have not seen anything posted. Do you need any additional information from me?
Thanks! I can’t wait to get something going.

Hey Alden,
Just wondering if you were having trouble with the getting the emails because you haven’t responded to me for the featured member section. Definitley let me know if you need something else to be featured on that section.

Hi Alden. I left a comment on your recent blog post, Featured creations slide show, but it was a while after you posted it so I thought I would my question here: “I really like this feature too. It is a nice overview as there really are too many creations to get though these days. How are the creations chosen? And what is the voting feature next to the slides for?” Wendy.

Hi Alden,
thanks for the info on CPSC, I wasn’t sure if anybody had addressed it but didn’t want to not mention it. As far as I understand it, the exemptions are still a proposal, and the fabric they are possibly exempting(unless something changes yet again, which it could at any minute) is only undyed fabric. So there are still a lot of designers/manufacturers out there that are holding their breath till this get finalized, myself included.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great Burda measurment cards, buttons and tape measure. I planned a whole lesson plan around taking their own measurements ( would be great to have one for the guys, also)! Thanks again….Happy Holidays!

Hi Alden, thanks so much for featuring me on the website! I got a surprise to see my work mentioned. I love making those fabric cards and they are very effective. It’s a good way of using small pieces of fabric and they look great. Carolyne (RubyLimeDesign)

You have the prettiest pictures on your member home page! Oh my goodness! I can’t wait until you learn to sew. Don’t worry, it’s only tricky for the first few years.
