    Thanks for this dress pattern. I appreciate the line drawings, which I find far more useful for determining the construction of a garment. Do you have any fabric recommendations? (My oldest granddaughter will be the recipient of a new dress for summer.) Nehmah

    Hi all! I couldn't believe you like the dress this much! I hope you'll have no problems sewing it. Fabric reccomendations? Well, I used cotton for both of the dresses. The original dress that inspired me to make me one was made of satin and muslin (satin for the top and bottom patrs of the dress and sleeves - black on the drawing; muslin for the white parts), that dress had lining, of course. I think that satin, linen, viscose or even silk would be great, too. But, if you choose soft fabric, I recommend to use interface on reverse parts of the neckline.
