Any idea if I could work a lift into these? My right leg is 1/2 inch shorter than my left leg and I refuse to pay to have a lift put into house shoes. Extra felt maybe?

Nice job, pattern is easy and quick to make. I added cotton batting cut to the measurements for a softer sole. Might work for the person looking to add that 1/2 inch to the height too. And instead of single bias tape, I used the foldover variety, makes a nice smooth edge to slipper. Suggest "puff paint" as a non-skid surface or the tape you use on rugs to keep them from sliding. And here is a link for a treatment with caulking http://allbuttonedup.wordpress.com/2007/09/18/making-slippers-non-slip/ that someone else came up with.

    God bless and have fun!

for lift i wuold suggest sponge, like the one on camping mats (the color ones) because its more resistant (i speak spanish, i don't know if those things are called "camping mats" :P)
