    Very good pattern for a beginner sewer. The only part I found confusing were the directions for the back placket. Sew it onto the long placket so that the edges line up, then fold it in half lengthwise and it'll be a long tube ready to be sewn around the raw edge of the cardi.

    I made the largest size with only 2.5m and I even had some left over.

    Step 5 of the instructions aren't very clear. If it hadn't been for sarabot's comment, I would still be banging my head against the wall. I think the pattern looks best on slimmer bodies, not so good if you have a "problem" with your hips. It makes them look enormous!
