When Nora and Benedikta went to the Bambi Awards, we had the lucky chance to make their gowns. Here's the regal opulence with ethnic flair we came up with for Nora. The underskirt peaks out from center front and at the hem, the embroidered detail frames the face as fit for queen, and the curved seaming adds extra couture touch. Just in time for Prom season, we can't wait to see your creations. Please note this pattern is available BOTH as a print from home pattern and a print from copy shop!
We used silk shantung, embroidered trimming, silk charmeuse, horsehair braid, hooks and eyes. But taffeta and satin would be lovely too.
5 yards self (4.5 meters), 3 yards underskirt (3.2 meters), 3.5 yards embroidered trim (330 cm), 3.5 yards horsehair band (330 cm).
