Print the Jorinde pattern to use as your base. Follow the pattern alteration steps found on Neo Frou.
Here is the extra pattern piece you need. It is the arm facing panel. It joins the sleeve to the (altered) yoke by matching the shoulder lines together.
Seam allowances (1.5cm; 5/8 inch) included.
You will find it runs a little longer than the length of the sleeve – I prefer it to run long rather than run short! This won’t affect your placement so long as you align its shoulder line to the shoulder line of the yoke when attaching.
per Jorinde + interfacing.
Notes on sleeve facing fabric choice -
plan ‘a’: with piping down sleeves use same fabric as rest of jacket (except the contrast yoke)
plan ‘b’: without piping down sleeves use contrast fabric same as yoke
the sleeve facing is approx 1.3 m long. You will need a single interfacing panel that length.
the fabric allowance in Jorinde should be enough to include this facign of self fabric
