This bag comes in two sizes (long and short version). A couple of books/ magazines and a bottle of water fit well into it. The finished bag measures about 40cm x 28 cm (long version) or 33cm x 28 cm (short version) the strap measures 115cm x 6cm. The seam allowance is included in each piece with 1,5cm (5/8"). Play around with your fabrics, contrast back/front upper bag/ lower bag and inner and outer handle.
To protect your wallet, use velcro/ a button on the inner pockets.
I drew the pattern, test sewed the bag and scanned everything – I hope you all have fun with this bag :)

Recommended Materials

cotton, corduroy, linen – you can use various materials, make sure they are heavy enuogh or support them with interface.
Velcro/ Snap/ Button
Bias Tape or some laces/ ribbons to decorate your bag
