Gail is a more fitted version of the original Malissa pattern, but you only need to download the Gail pattern to do this project. For the glitzy set in we used a Guipure, however you can be as creative as you want here. Instead of Guipure, just use any kind of lace or sheer material. Also, instead of making a full inset, you can add a wide trim to the neckline of the dress. We even thought about just adding a trim of feathers around the neckline leaving it wide open over the shoulders. In any event, there is lots of room to add your own party glitz to this version.
