TO GET A LONG GOWN INSTEAD OF DRESS, YOU NEED TO LENGTHEN THE HEM. FOR OUR SAMPLE WE LENGTHENED THE HEM ABOUT 18 INCHES AND FINISHED IT UNEVEN FROM THE LEFT TO THE RIGHT! This simple yet elegant dressy dress is fitting for any evening event you attend or host. The guests will be charmed not only by your radiant personality, but also by your sparkling dress! Make it especially delectable by choosing a sheer fabric with sequins or lace and lining it in a luxurious silk charmeuse. Please note that this pattern is available BOTH as a print at home option and as a print at copy shop option.
Recommended fabrics are lightweight evening fabrics like taffeta, georgettes, or chiffons. Beaded laces or sequined sheer fabrics also work nicely. We used a silk charmeuse as the lining which works nicely for drape. Notions: Interfacing- 24" X 24" (6
