Length from waist 73 cm (283/4 ins)
Fold the fabric as shown in the pattern layout. Right side faces in on a double layer of fabric; right side faces up on a single layer.
Cut the right and left sleeves as opposites.
Note: On this dress, the hem edges of the skirt and sleeves are left unfinished. If you prefer, these edges can be finished with a small zigzag stitch.
Softly draping dress fabrics
Crêpe satin, 140 cm (55 ins) wide: 2.60 – 2.65 – 2.70 – 2.90 – 2.90 m (27/8 – 3 – 3 – 31/4 – 31/4 yds). Vilene/Pellon G 785. 1 invisible zip, 40 cm (16 ins) long, and a special presser foot.
