Fold the fabric as shown in the pattern layout. Right side faces in on a double layer of fabric; right side faces up on a single layer.

Note: As a fashion feature, we left the bottom edges of the flounces and outer edge of the neck edge frill unfinished. If you prefer, you can narrowly press the edges under and finish them with a small zigzag stitch or with an overlock stitch.

140 cm (55 in) wide chiffon: 3 5/8 – 3 5/8 – 3 5/8 – 3 3/4 – 3 3/4 yds). 1 invisible zip, 40 cm (16 ins) long, and a special presser foot. Elastic, 5 mm (3/16 in) wide: 0.40 – 0.40 – 0.45 – 0.45 – 0.50 m (1/2 – 1/2 – 3/4 – 3/4 – 3/4 yd).
