I am glad that certain types of retro are fashionable again. Look at it! It’s simple, feminine and it’s also sexy.

I have the same difficulties. I imagine you cut the lining for the front piece, sew right side of lining to right side of fabric, then turn it inside out and press. Do you then sew it on to the inside of the dress neckline and turn it to the outside and topstitch, or is there another way of doing it?

I am a tad confused about the directions. The collar portion instruction are not clear to me. Do I need to cut separate lining pieces for pieces 7 and 8? I honestly do not understand what the direction are trying to say in how you are to stitch down the collar pieces and lining. Someone please help!
