Description

Women’s petite dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

This dainty dress in embroidered batiste and wool crepe is just right for dignified occasions. The primness of the rounded collar is counteracted by the swing in the full, gathered skirt. This style, with its low waist seam, has a lengthening effect, which makes it ideal for shorter women.

Recommended Materials

Embroidered cotton fabric for the dress bodice and lightweight wool fabric for the skirt.

Amount of Fabrics

White broderie anglaise/eyelet,
width:150cm (embroidered over a width of 140 cm)
length:1.15 – 1.15 – 1.20 – 1.20 – 1.20 m (1 3/8 yds).

Black wool crêpe,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length:1.15 – 1.15 – 1.15 – 1.20 – 1.20 m (1 3/8 yds).

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.60 – 0.70 – 0.75 – 0.80 – 0.85 m
(3/4 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 1 yd).

White bias tape, 4 cm (1 5/8 ins) wide and 0.55 m (3/4 yd) long.

Black petersham ribbon, 6 mm (1/4 in) wid and 1.10 m (1 1/4 yds) long.

Yarn in a contrast­ing colour, for the decorative stitch­ing at hem edge.
