Description

Women’s vest sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine.

For women who want the classic style of a trenchcoat on warmer days. This short sleeved jacket has all the crisp detail, minus the sleeves and length.

This pattern is from the Concrete Safari collection.

Recommended Materials

Fabrics with some body.

Amount of Fabrics

Cotton gabardine,
width:50 cm (59 in)
length: 2.40 – 2.40 – 2.40 – 2.45 – 2.45 m (2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 3/4 – 2 3/4 yds).

Interfacing, Vilene/Pellon G 785.

9 buttons, 1 flat inside button.

4 D-rings, 3 cm (1 1/4 ins) wide.

1 belt buckle with 2 prongs, bar width 6 cm (2 3/8 ins).

    Very easy to sew and as I’m a ‘regular size,’ I can add, very easy to downsize by reducing 2 cm from the waist area to match your regular sizing. Here’s a photo of my version, from one of my favorite features in a Burda issue of all time, the May 2010 city safari spread.
